STERILIZATION

Several sterilization modes are frequently used. UV are a really sterilizing equipment, and may be combine with others technologies to improve treatment quality, depending on the water quality.

 Principe

The Ultraviolet light destroys the bacterium by modifying their nucleic acids. The UV dose, expressed in mJ/cm², conditions the obtained result. Other wave lengths can be used for different applications.

CESI has two main suppliers in order to cover a wide flow range. Going from 1 to 350 m³/h, depending on water transmissivity this range uses low, medium or high pressure mercury lamp.
