POTABILIZATION UNIT IN CONGO
One of the main difficulties the foresters have to face, and others industrials in countryside, is the supply of potable water for the workers.
In collaboration with a great industrial company, CESI supplied a mobile and compact unit of water potabilization from surface water. These units, which could be automated, equipped with electric generator, and not necessiting highly qualified workers, can be installed wherever there is an urgent potable water need:
isolated communities,
construction sites, life bases, military camps, refugees camps,
urban communities waiting for the construction of a plant, increasing existing plants. etc...
These installations only require a platform and a release for the mud and wastewater.
They are made to fit in a container to travel easily.
The installation supplied by CESI has a capacity of 36 m3/h to feed a lifebase of 20 00 living equivalents.

On the left picture, sand filters can be seen, the first treatment step. They catch the suspended particle. On the right one are the the storage tanks for the coagulation and flocculation for the suspended solids. A storage tank for the chlorine is also there in order do disinfect the out flowing water.

The unit is designed to fit in a container.
