KATADYN FILTRATION

 Performances

Filtration retention capacity of KATADYN filter is designed on on ceramic adsorption power. The housings (31 or 54 candles) aim to filter 6 to 10 cubic meters under 6 bar service pressure. They can be installed in parallel to reach higher outputs. They are built in stainless steel (SS) as well as the connecting butterfly valves.


The ceramic KATADYN filtration will guarantee a first class micro-biological barrier.

Final filtration step in Spring or Mineral water or Softdrink industries:

• It is an excellent mean to remove finest oxidized iron or manganese particles after chemical oxidation...

 KATADYN ceramic media disinfection

After brushing the candles, CESI advise to recirculate one of these aqueous solutions with a CIP unit:

• H₂O₂  with peracetic acid,
• Hot water ( 85°C) during 30 minutes.

 Waterproof efficiency control

• Submersion of filtering element in water,
• Filtered air injection.
